Data Deletion Instructions

1. Data Deletion Policy
At Softymize, we respect your privacy and give you full control over the personal and business data processed by our applications. In compliance with Meta Platform Policies and global privacy regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA), this page provides clear instructions on how you can request and execute the deletion of your account and associated WhatsApp Business API data from our systems.
2. How to Request Data Deletion
You can choose to delete your data through two main methods:
Option A: Direct Dashboard Disconnection (Self-Service)
You can remove your connected accounts instantly. Log into the Softymize Dashboard (app.softymize.com), go to Settings > WhatsApp, and click the "Disconnect WABA" button. This immediately terminates our access to your Meta account and marks your local credentials for deletion.
Option B: Email Support Request
If you wish to permanently delete all historical data, logs, and account records, please send an email to our support team at support@softymize.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please send this request from the registered admin email address of your Softymize account.
3. Types of Data Deleted
Upon receiving a deletion request, we permanently erase the following information from our active databases:
- Meta User Access Tokens and administrative credentials.
- WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID) and Phone Number ID association.
- WhatsApp conversation transcripts, messaging logs, and campaign delivery logs.
- Synchronized Shopify customer numbers and CRM agent metadata.
- Cached files, templates, and dashboard metrics.
4. Processing Timeline
Self-service disconnections take effect instantly. Email data deletion requests are processed by our system administrators within 30 business days of receipt. Once processed, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that certain transactional or billing records may be retained temporarily in offline backups to meet legal, tax, or regulatory compliance requirements.
